Education and Training

Education

Professionals in this domain have at least a University-level Master or Doctorate degree from a recognized University program.

During the Bachelor-level psychology training, they specialize in basic human functioning, including how humans think, behave, learn, and interact with others. They also acquire expertise in assessment, statistics, and intervention design.

At the Master and Doctoral level, the focus is on group and organizational processes as well as on workplace optimization. Other topics depend on the specific Master or Doctoral program.

Ideally, students have taken courses on business strategy, finance, accounting, and management. In some cases, professionals also decide to complete an MBA or other Business and Management related degree.

Practical Experience

Besides a solid 5-9 year academic education, professionals need to acquire practical experience in one or more organizations or institutions.

As certified FSP psychologist, they are also required to continue their education and training throughout their professional career.
